The patient contribution and remuneration for family caregivers are based on cantonal requirements. A reduction in residual funding is planned from 2026, which will limit wages to CHF 35 to a maximum of CHF 38 per hour in future.

Family caregivers who have completed an SRC care assistant course receive a wage of up to CHF 42 per hour from SpitexCare, depending on the canton.
