Information on employment & salary

The patient contribution and the remuneration for family caregivers are based on cantonal requirements. From 2026, a reduction in residual funding is planned, which will limit wages to CHF 35 to a maximum of CHF 38 per hour in future.

Before care begins - whether by Spitex or relatives - a needs assessment is carried out.

Family caregivers who have completed an SRC care assistant course receive a wage of up to CHF 42 per hour from SpitexCare, depending on the canton.
